Konami Australia’s corporate showroom needed to be modernised and brought up to International Design standards in order to fall in line with the other showrooms in Europe and the United States.
The showroom needed to be modern and inviting, showcasing their latest gaming products. The entire space creatively housed a corporate boardroom, interactive gaming showcase, a large breakout area and bar.
The triple-functioning space is now utilised for staff functions and to host corporate visitors.
As this project needed an innovative design, it was undertaken on a design and documentation basis. Firstly a concept plan and preliminary budget, together with a fee proposal for the design and documentation were submitted to the client. Once the client signed off on the fee proposal, our designers then produced all the all the detailed plans, elevations, sections, finishes schedule and other detailed specifications for the project. Fixed price costings for each trade were then prepared using Action's in-house tendering process.
The individual costings for each trade were then submitted to the client for approval as part of the Action Fixed Price Project total. Once the client approved each trade amount, all trades were managed directly by Action's project manager.
